Met the Fockers, They Need Some Dynamite

Well Folks,

There aren't too many movies that I see that I can honestly say that I would never see again. Very few, in fact I think I can count them on one hand. Not that I like every movie I see, I just would see 99% of them again at some time. Sometimes it takes a lot of time in between viewings, but I would still see them again. Anyways, this is about another movie that I would add to my do not see list.

Meet the Fockers is the sequel to the absolutely histerical film Meet the Parents. When I went to see Meet the Fockers I was expecting the movie to be crude, I mean it is rated PG-13. What I got was a very funny movie that was just too crude too enjoy.

Now just for clarification, I have seen R-rated teen comedies that I find histerical (I cannot recommend them because of their content). I found Meet the Fockers was not given the appropraite rating therefore I was extra offened by the content. I was expecting a PG-13 rated amount of rudeness and crudity but was given an extra zesty R rated amount. The film constantly bombards you with sexual perversion and graphic descriptions of sexual acts and the like. The movie is just too rauncy to recommend or every see in my opinion. Its more perverted than American Pie and that is saying something.

This brings up an interesting discussion on my stance on movies. You might be asking, "Does he hold movies to a standard based on their rating?" The answer is yes, very much so yes. If I am going to see an R-rated movie, I expect there to be a different level of offensive content. The MPAA has published standards that they supposedly rate the movies with. I hold them to that standard. If they are going to publish a standard they use in their process i think they should be held to it. Anyways I can't really articulate my point here very well over the internet. If you would like to have a more indepth discussion about my thoughts on movie rating, post a comment or IM me sometime. Or you can call me or something.

So anyways I can't recommend Meet the Fockers, but I can recommend Napoleon Dyanmite. Its histerical and funny. Go buy it or at least rent it tonite. Heck I might even let you borrow it if you ask nicely.

Instead of a real blog

Hey yall

I haven't done anything particulaly interesting recently so I don't have too much to blog about. Nevertheless, I do have a ton to blog about and instead of dropping the whole thing on you in one blog I'm gonna space it out over a few days. This is really a blog to let you know that I haven't forgotten about my blog. So its kinda pointless, oh well

Dead poetic rules!!!!
